Knee Osteoarthritis

Geniculate Artery Embolization (GAE) is a minimally invasive procedure that is used to treat patients with osteoarthritis of the knee.  Small arteries that go to the knee are embolized (blocked off) to reduce the blood flow to the lining of the knee (synovium) to provide long-term pain relief and inflammation.
