Amber attended the University of Kentucky where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. In July 2015, Amber became board certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants. Amber has practiced as an adult and pediatric ENT/Sleep Medicine Physician Assistant in Charlotte, NC from 2015-2020. She, along with her husband and children, decided to relocate to Kentucky to be closer to family.
In May 2020, Amber joined our Vascular Surgery team. She works primarily with Dr. Menes, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She assists with surgical procedures and performs sclerotherapy. Amber is accepting new patients for various vascular complaints such as: peripheral vascular disease,critical limb ischemia,deep venous thrombosis, venous insufficiency, varicose veins, pulmonary embolism, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, mesenteric ischemia and spider/reticular veins.
