Dr. Univers completed his medical training at Creighton University School of Medicine after which he completed general surgery residency at The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. His general surgery training was followed by two years of vascular surgery fellowship at the same institution. He then moved to Colorado and started a vascular program in Grand Junction. Dr. Univers is Board certified in general and vascular surgery and is registered in vascular ultrasound interpretation.
Dr. Univers specializes in both open and endovascular approaches to aneurysm repair, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, hemodialysis access and carotid disease including TCAR. He has special interest in critical limb ischemia and limb salvage.
