Megan was born and raised in East Tennessee. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga in 2012 and Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of South Alabama in 2017. She is accredited with the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. After graduation she remained on the coast and worked in internal medicine at the University of South Alabama Hospital and congenital heart surgery at the prestigious Texas Children’s Hospital. She has relocated to Lexington, Kentucky with her husband to be closer to family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, boating, and reading.
Megan joined the Vascular Surgery team in February of 2023. She works in both inpatient and outpatient settings and assists with surgical procedures. Megan is accepting new patients for various vascular complaints such as: peripheral vascular disease, critical limb ischemia, deep venous thrombosis, venous insufficiency, varicose veins, pulmonary embolism, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, mesenteric ischemia and spider/reticular veins.
